My name is Kayla Quimby and I am from Fairfield, Maine. I was born on January 8, 1999. I have been competing competitively since 2012. I am currently competing within the NBHA, in Maine, and with Midland Barrels in Fonda, New York. I have been traveling out of state to compete at larger shows for a few years now. Some of my titles include: 2016 Maine NBHA Youth 3D State Champion, and 2018 Maine NBHA Youth 1D State Champion. One of my goals is to compete and place at the NBHA World Finals soon because I have qualified to go many times. My dream is to someday compete with the WPRA and ride with some of the best, such as Fallon Taylor. Fallon Taylor is one of my role models because she promotes the use of helmets, and her clothing for riders expresses so much spirit and uniqueness. My horse’s name is Play Red Margie. She is a small horse with a lot of fire within her heart.
