“My name is Kassie Layne Carpenter, i am 17 years old. I’ve been rodeoing for 4 years now and barrel racing since i was old enough to walk. Barrel racing has always been a dream and i am proud to say i am accomplishing more and more every day! I am apart of the Tennessee High School Rodeo Association and qualified to go to the
National High School Rodeo Finals in WY 2 years in a row, Qualified for Youth and Open World 4 years in a row. Won 17th in All American Youth Barrel Race and have gotten 1rst-3rd in numerous TNHSR Barrel events. I’m currently sitting 1rst in TNHSR barrels and we’re at the half year mark!! My plan is to continue on the rodeo road and eventually become a professional barrel racer!! But don’t let me fool you, without my amazing dad none of this would be possible. He is my pusher, my coach, and my #1 fan and for him I am greatfull.
