BIO
My name is Karissa Sadl and I started barrel racing 2 years ago. I started out on a 24 year old retired polo horse and with the help of my instructor I trained her to run barrels. We started in a local series and I realized that at her age I wanted to give her a slower, calmer life so I donated her to a local equine therapy facility and with the help of my coach I found a finished 12 year old barrel horse (Money).
Money and I went on to win the youth 4D in our local Tuesday night barrel series. Then after winter break I purchased a second horse (Jetta) and competed at Missouri 4H state fair in Sedalia taking second in my age class. And in March from September I ran in the Missouri Central 4D series and at series finals I finished second in the youth 4D. Now I’m planning to run a local winter series and some local area fun shows where I have ribboned at multiple times.
