My name is Karissa Cook and I am from Cherry Valley, California. I am 17 years old and a senior in high school. I have been riding horse since I was 4 years old and have competed in many different events and disciplines from English and western showing to gymkhana, cattle sorting and rodeo queen competitions. My most recent accomplishment that I am very proud of is winning reserve champion in my first year of cattle sorting. For the past 7 years I have been a member of my local 4-H club. 4-H has given me numerous amazing opportunities, friendships, and great educational information.
