Hi, my name is Kara Brookins. I’ve been riding and competing and training horses for about 8 years now! I’m only 13 but no one believes me when they see me work with my horses. I have been competing in rodeo for about 5 years. My whole family is involved in horses and my aunt is a horse trainer out of AL. My current horse Dallas is my everything. I have completely trained him myself, he had a rough past and now is making his way to be an amazing barrel horse! Rodeo isn’t a hobby to me it’s my wholeeee life my passion and my future! 🙂
