BIO
“My name is Kaitlyn Moore and I am a 12 year old barrel racer from PA. I started barrel racing this past year after my horse decided she didn’t want to be a show hunter!! I trained her myself under the watchful eyes of my mom and we compete almost every weekend. I am a member of the IBRA and the NPBA.
In addition to barrel racing I also help my mom with her hunter/jumper lesson program and compete. I attend cyber school and it allows me to be able to spend more time in the barn. A typical day consists of helping with all the daily barn tasks, helping get horses and students to and from the ring, and teaching grooming and tacking lessons. I try to set a good example and be a mentor to the youth lesson students. My goal is to become a trainer like my mom someday.”
