“My name is Jessica Adams. I took lessons when I was 7, but didn’t start regularly riding and progressing until 2013 when I moved to Baker City, Oregon. I started competing in 4h and open shows in 2014. That’s also when I got my first horse, Norma. I bred her to A Winning Invitation and was planning to raise and show her baby, but sadly there was a freak accident on February 22, 2017 and she broke her back leg. There was absolutely nothing the vet could do to save her or the baby. My friend is letting me borrow her mare this year to get a baby by the same stud that I can keep and raise.
In 2017 I started my training business. Some of things I have experience training in is colt starting, weanling training, reining, showing (western/english/sms), tune ups, and barrels. I couldn’t have gotten where I am today without my number one inspiration, Angie Turner. She helped me get back into horses and progress in my riding.”
