Hello I’m Jamie Lavergne, a little bit about me-
I’ve been barrel racing for as long as I could sit on a horse. I started out with little “lead-in” classes when I years old, I raced NBHA for about 9 or 10 years. In those 10 years I have qualified for the youth world championships about 6 times. I started doing local rodeos and jackpots, won some money there and went on to learn more about how I ride.
I took a summer to really learn more and better myself. In 2018 I plan to run BBR and THSRA and a few other local rodeo associations. I hope to make it somewhere in this crazy “job” of mine, and in about 5 to 10 years make 10 runs at the Thomas and Mack in Vegas. I thank Lakota for this opportunity for me to be a young professional for them and wear their brand in every competition ride.
