BIO

“I am a native of Lexington, Kentucky and then moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana. With my dad being a farrier and my family running a horse farm, I have long been involved in the industry. My parents have been the best role models teaching me to ride well, work hard, and have fun along the way! My first horse, Lakota, came into my life at age 10 and adopted the barn name of ‘Blue’. Since then, Blue and I have been quite the duo as we placed second in the youth division of IBRA. We also hold 6 Allen County speed records and placed in the top 10 for barrel racing and pole bending at the Indiana State Fair.

I have been barrel racing and competing for 10 years now. Over that time, I have added a couple new horses to my team named Haraldo (1D) and Dashin for a Train (futurity). Both are off the track horses and are excelling at their second careers as barrel racers. I have balanced barrel racing, running a riding lesson program and college at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN for the last 3 years. After graduating next semester, I plan to focus on horses full time as I will be attending the Indiana Barrel Futurity, AQHA Congress and IBRA Finals this fall. In addition, I will be joining the PRCA and begin barrel racing with the professional rodeo circuit at the end of 2019!”
