BIO

My name is Holly Hurlburt and I am from a small town called Lisle, New York. I was born on November 17, 1997. I have been competing since I was little girl. I have been apart of the National Barrel Horse Association barrel racing full time since 2010. Some of the awards I take pride in include being a multiple time National High School Rodeo qualifier in barrel racing, polebending, and the queens contest. I was a two time Reserve New York State High School Rodeo Champion Pole Bender , and a one time Reserve Champion Barrel Racer! I was the New York State High School Rodeo Queen for two years , and held the title of Miss Teen Rodeo New York 2016. I recently won the 2017 New York NBHA Open 3D state championship with my horse AA Australian Shadow (Shadow). I have owned Shadow since he was 3 months old and he is now 17 this year! Shadow is a big 16 hand black Appaloossa gelding with no spots. He loves traveling every weekend in either one of our new Lakota horse trailers! We love riding in style and comfort wherever we go. My role model is Fallon Taylor because no matter what life throws at her she can always see the positive in any situation to come back even stronger! Once she sets her mind on something she won’t stop until she reaches her goals! My goal this year it to compete, qualify and place in the short go at both the NBHA Youth Worlds and Open Worlds in Perry, Georgia!
