BIO
Hinklie is in the 7th grade. At the age of 8 Hinklie was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Fabry disease. Hinklie’s grandpa Eddie gave her the horse she does breakaway on. When she got JJ she wanted it to be a barrel horse but JJ had the potential to be a great breakaway horse instead. Hinklie has trained JJ and loves to practice for hours on him. In 2015 Hinklie tied for breakaway champion of the Central Utah Junior Rodeo Association summer series.In 2016 she placed 2nd of the same series in breakaway. Also in 2016 she was awarded the rookie champion for Goshen Valley Rodeo Club.This past May Hinklie and her team roping Partner Cooper Jacobs took 2nd in the first go around at The Jr High State Finals. Hinklie’s passion for rodeo and riding is a huge part of her life.
