Hello, my name is Gabriella Shea Vossler and I started taking lessons in 2012 when I was 12 years old. I had never been around horses before. After my 3rd riding lesson they started teaching me the instructions and outs of barrel racing. They told me I was relaxed and natural on a horse so I attended my first show a month after I started riding. That summer I continued to learn and ride their horses wishing I had my own. In august of that summer I traveled 4 hours to look at this horse. She was so skinny and needed to be mine. Her registered name is a hot classy chic aka “chickie” she was originally a 4h horse and had never done barrels before so after we got some weight on her we started working on the pattern and gaining confidence together. At the end of the year we ended up doing great and we still continue to grow each year. Since I’ve only been riding 4 years I’m still learning everyday and continue to work on my confidence with my mare. Even if you think you know it all, you don’t because you’ll learn something new everyday. #trainingneverstops. There’s good days and there’s bad days but my mare will never let me down.
