I own a 9 year old Quarter horse named Aria. When I rescued her, I couldn’t ride her the first two weeks because she was abused at her last home. She was spurred till she bled, whacked in the face and hit when she was tied up. I spent all my spare time working with her and bonding with her. Now, she is a beautiful barrel horse!
