“My name is Emily Garner-Ballinger and I am from Foley, Alabama. I just starting riding in 2016 and started competing in our local Saddle Club shows in 2017. I compete in Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, 4 Barrel Weave, and Arena Race. One of my goals is to be Junior Cowgirl Queen for the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation.
Me and my horse are still learning, but every time I get on him we both learn something new. My horse’s name is Leroy. He is an American Quarter Horse and Appaloosa mix. He will do anything you ask of him for a slice of pizza and for some attention.”
