BIO
Hi, my name is Destinee Denetclaw Dale. I am 17 years old and live in Farmington, NM. I was born June 5, 1999. I first started riding when I was 7 years old and have been competing for 10 years since. My role model growing up was always my dad because he just to rodeo and taught me everything he knew and learned. It was him who pushed me and helped become the best rider I could be despite not having any experience or knowledge on barrel racing before. Since I am also a Native American, I compete mostly in the Indian rodeos held all over the Navajo Nation reservation. Some of the accomplishments and awards that I am most proud of are that I was the 2014 IIFR Jr Barrel Racing World Champion, 2015 4-Bears INFR Tour rodeo Jr Barrel Racing Champion, and 3-time IIFR/INFR qualifier. There are also some other runs with my black gelding, Santana, that either won or placed in the top 3 of the round/rodeo. Porkchops is my new and younger horse that I have been starting to get consistent with. He’s much taller and acts like a little boy but I love him very much.
