My name is Desirae Zimmerman, I was born on March 10th, 1999. I am from Conneaut, Ohio and I have been barrel racing for 7 years now. Barrel racing is the best thing that has happened to me. I compete in a rodeo series every month and every year I travel to the All American Youth Show and plan to compete there until I’m too old. My goal is to be the champion barrel racer in my division at Youth Show this year. One of my favorite things about being a barrel racer is giving advice to the younger kids that look up to me. My horses name is Vegas. She’s your typical moody mare, but she’s one of the best horses I’ve ever owned and gives her whole heart into every run that I ask her to.
