My name is Corinne Whitney. I compete in rodeo all over the state of California. I compete in the barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, breakaway roping, team roping, girls cutting, and the reining cow horse. The last 3 years i have qualified for state finals. My first year of high school rodeo I qualified for for breakaway. My second year of high school rodeo I qualified in the reining cow horse and the cutting against some tough competition, but not only did I go state in the cutting and the reining cow horse I also went as the Miss California High School Rodeo Association District Six’s rodeo queen! My third year of high school rodeo I qualified in the reining cow horse and the cutting, but this year I was ranked 5th in the state of California in the reining cow horse. This upcoming year im hoping to go to state finals once again in the reining cow horse and hopefully make it to the National High School Rodeo held in Gillette, Wyoming!
