BIO

Horses didn’t come naturally as I am not from a horse background. I started riding when I was about 12 years old and when I was 16 I trained my first mustang for the Extreme Mustang Makeover. A scrawny bay gelding #6299, “Dream”, was randomly assigned to me and spurred my passion for mustangs. I have since trained several others including “Stella” a young bay mare that is also part of my liberty team. My role model is Madison Shambaugh who I spent a summer with and learned so much from. I placed Top Three in the youth mustang makeover in 2015 and have won the Mustang Open in Fort Worth in 2016 and 2017. “Dream” and I have competed successfully in a variety of disciplines and shows. My goal is to start competing in reining and exhibiting the versatility and trainability of mustangs to the public.
