BIO

My name is Cassidi Alverson. I live in Loveland, Colorado. I was born August 1, 2003.I have been competing for almost 9 years now. My grandpa had horses as I grew up, being like any small little girl I wanted to ride horses. Next thing you know I’m taking lessons, and that’s how my addiction started. I have won two most improved advanced student. I won the youth 3D summer and year long series in 2017 for Mile High Barrel Horse. One of my goals this year is to start running my new mare I just got, Nikki. I hope to become more competitive and improve my riding skills. I have three main role models, my trainer/”grandma” Carol Ellis, Amy Jo Farella(trainer), and Fallon Taylor. I have been riding with my grandma Carol for about 5 or 6 years. She has taught me more than I can imagine. She has taught me all the skills that have made me who I am. Amy Jo has taught me how to be more fearless and she wants me to thrive and succeed. She teaches me with only kind words and encouragement. Fallon Taylor is a legend in my heart. She was in an accident, and the doctors told her that she would never walk again. Despite what the doctors said, she was able to come back and is one of the biggest names in the barrel racing world. My horse’s name is Belle, she is a 17 year old mare. She is a piglet, and loves her food.
