I have been interested in horses my entire life, and I got my very first one when I was 9 years old. I started out with western/english pleasure, and worked my way up to dressage, jumping and speed events. I joined a 4-H group when I was 9, and I have been a member until this year when my group got closed. I now only do barrel racing and have been an NBHA member since 2014. I have competed at local rodeos, and also the 4-H State Competition two years in a row. I have qualified for NBHA Youth World two years in a row, as well as the NBHA Open World after the 2015 season. In 2016, I competed at NBHA State finals in Midland, Michigan and ended up qualifying back to Open and Youth Finals. I am a very determined, willing, hard-working barrel racer and someday I hope to make the top 15 and compete at the NFR!
