BIO

“Someone once told me, “”If you want to look good in front of thousands, you have to outwork thousands when no one is looking.”” I got my first horse to call my own when I was twelve years old and now own to beautiful quarter horses, Barron (barrel racer) and Waylon (Western Pleasure). We have competed in our local saddle club, at county fairs, state fairs, high school rodeos, and jackpots. My mentors have become my competitors.
Horses have taught me that anything is possible if you work for it. When I am riding, I am flying, I am with my teammate competing for one common goal. A horse is your partner that has your back; your best friend. I want to thank my parents for believing I could go far and for pushing me to do so! I also want to thank everyone who knew I was capable of being an equestrian and supporting me, showing me what hard work is. I love what I do and want to thank you for giving me yet another opportunity to strive.”
