BIO
My name is Brook Scheulen and I’m 13 years old. I live in a small town called Linn, Missouri. I started riding when I was 3 years old. I started competing when I was 11 years old. I do rodeos with the Ozark Rodeo Association. This year was my second year with them. At finals on October 21-22, 2016, I won the barrels and poles all around buckle and won the barrels average buckle and got third in poles average. I qualified for the Championships on December 2-3 2016. My role model is my sister, Taylor Scheulen, because she was the won who got me on a horse and taught me how to ride and run in rodeos. She helped me train my first pony and when I got to big for her I bought a horse named Dusty and trained him with her help and he is the one that won all my awards. I want to start getting more into competive and start high school rodeo next year so I bought a horse named Cody. He was not broke and my sister helped me train him from square one. It’s been a year since I had him and now he runs at barrel races and I plan to start running him in rodeos this winter.
