Hello, my name is Ashton Serena Ballance. I live in a small town called Branford, Florida. I was on a horse before I was old enough to walk and I have been competing my whole life. I have won several years at CCRC FROM 2007-2017. My goal in life is not only to become a pro barrel racer, but it is to give people with disability a chance to enjoy horses as much as I do. My horse is named Cherokee, she is the most sass I’ve ever seen in a horse but she gives it her all and she has made me the rider I am today. Thanks to my horse I am still competing, sadly 6 years ago I was in a terrible accident with a horse and I couldn’t face a horse much less ride, until I met Cherokee and I knew I was gonna compete even if I just walked. Five years later and I am competing at CCRC and NBHA.
