My name is Ashlyn and I have been riding since I was 11. I compete as an all-arounder in 4h and AQHA shows. Pattern classes such as showmanship, equitation, and horsemanship are definitely my favorite. I own 3 horses, I’ll start with “Dees Sox R Hot” aka Lilly. She is the only horse I know who can jump a hunter course then go lope a western pleasure class. Lilly has mastered the show pen unlike my other horse, “Only Blues Will Do” aka Willie. He is my big 3 year old hunter under saddle horse who is just now making his debut in competitions. I owned Willie as a yearling and trained him myself. Lastly, I also own Riley.She is a wild mustang yearling from Nevada that I have gentled and trained. Building trust between a horse that has never been handled before is such a fulfilling experience.
