BIO
My name is Anna Dell Miller and I am currently living in Palmer, Alaska with my parents. I was born in Texas and due to my fathers military job in the Air Force we moved around a lot but upon retirement we have landed in the beautiful Last Frontier. I have owned three horses in my fifteen years but currently own a six year old AQHA mare from the Hancock line. Her registered name is Hancock Fixer’s Girl but we call her Jupiter. We are taking it slow on barrels but won over the summer a 1D Reserve Championship buckle in Senior Barrels for my 4H group, a 3D Champion buckle in Senior Poles, and a 1D 3rd PL in Senior keyhole. I also won in 2015 the state 4-H Horse Contest Horse Bowl with the team, Palmer Potatoes. Jupiter & I compete in the 907 Barrel association in Alaska and also the Rodeo Alaska Association.
My biggest role models in life are Christian McCormick, a trainer who has traveled and competed all over the states and in Canada on her many accomplished horses. I train with her multiple times a week and she never fails to give my horse and I the most intense work out mentally and physically. My parents have also been a great deal of support in my life and multiple other people that I could not be where I am today without them. I hope to haul all over Alaska and to the Lower 48 this coming summer and have big dreams for my buckskin mare and I!
