BIO
“My name is Alyssa Abbas and I’m from Beaverton, Michigan. I have been riding horses since I was three and currently barrel race around the state with 4-H and International Barrel Racing Association (IBRA). One of my favorite accomplishments was becoming the 2017 4-H State Champion in barrel racing and Indiana flag race. I also became the 2017 Reserve-State Champion in pole bending. Another one of my favorite achievements is qualifying for IBRA Nationals two years in a row.
The main horse I compete on is Dodgerskidrock aka Rock. He is a fourteen year old Quarter Horse and loves his job as a barrel horse! My main goal as a barrel racer is to one day become a professional barrel racer and to make it to the NFR.”
