BIO
My name is Alexx Malchow. I am from Beatrice, Nebraska. I’ve been around horses for as long as I can remember. My two horses are Bloomin Daisy May “Daisy” and Jae Bar Little Curt “Curt”. I’ve had Daisy for 6 years and I’ve been riding Curt for 6 months. I started competing in barrel races at the age of 6. I started 4-H when I was 8. This year I started my freshman year of Kansas High School Rodeo in the fall of 2016. I have placed in the top 20 in barrels and poles at almost every rodeo. I am currently sitting 17th in barrel racing and 21st in pole bending. I am a 9th grader at Tri County Schools and am active in FFA, show choir, choir, Student Council, track, basketball & One Act Play. I would like to attend the University Nebraska-Lincoln to be a vet with a specialization in equine. I enjoy going on trail rides and spending time with family. I am very thankful that my family supports me in rodeo and is right there when I need them. Rodeo is my true passion and I plan on being active with my horses for the rest of my life.
