BIO

Hi, i’m Alexis! I’m from Lorena in Central Texas! I’ve been riding since I was 11 & competing since I was 12. I’ve had the opportunity to sit on many amazing horses’ backs in my years of riding. I currently own 2 horses, “Imagine That Too” AKA Dixie and “First and Famous” AKA Brother. I bought Dixie when I was 12, she has led me to many wins. I won the 2014 Pinto World Championships in the Keyhole and Reserve World Championships in Pole Bending with top 5 finishes in Barrel Racing and Stake Race. I then went on to win 3rd in the Barrel Racing at the Paint World Championships and Top 5 placings in Pole Bending and Stake Races. That year I also had many accomplishments in NBHA, the Josey Reunion, Josey clinics, Elite Barrel race, and multiple Jackpots. In 2015 I won the Pinto World Championships in Barrel Racing, Stake Race, and Flag Race with a 3rd place in Pole Bending. I then went to the Paint Youth World Championships and Was the Reserve World Champion Barrel Racer & 3rd in Pole Bending and Stake Race. I was also Top 5 in the Pinto World Championship in Barrel Racing on “TE Tiger White Face”.
This year I placed in the Top 5 at the Pinto World championships on Dixie in all speed events as well Top 5 placings at Paint Youth World Championships. I currently just sold “TE Tiger White Face” and welcomed “First and Famous” to the team, a son straight out of Dash Ta Fame who is placing high in tough Texas jackpots. Outside of horses I show steers and goats and compete in many events through my FFA Chapter, Waco Midway FFA, the largest FFA chapter in the nation with 901 members. I believe that any kid has the opportunity to compete and be the best that they can and that’s what I strive to help others achieve. I love coaching and training people of all ages in barrel racing, public speaking, or just a good pep talk. I encourage everyone to work efficiently and be the best they can.
