BIO
My name is Alexis Bowker, but I like to be called Lexi. I am from a very small town called Lane, Kansas. I was born on September 9th, 2003. I have been competing since the summer of 2013. I know barrel race year round and really enjoy the sport! Some of my awards in my 2017 year have been money, qualifications, and hopefully a saddle at the end of the year. I recently joined NBHA and have placed 1st in the 3D and some in the 2D every race so far. One of my goals for 2017 is to be able to keep my horse running consistently in the 2D! My role model probably has to be Ivy Cornado, she is a really good barrel racer and is able to keep up with the “older” girls and is just an all around, amazing cowgirl!! I currently have two horses, R-Jay my grey horse and Spook my bay horse! R-Jay loves attention and being brushed. Spook on the other hand just likes to be saddled and rode. When R-Jay knows he’s in trouble he puts his head down really low to the ground and puts his hears straight forward. They’re my babies!
