BIO
Ever since I was young I knew I wanted to ride, it wasn’t until I was in 7th grade that I was able to finally have the opportunity. I got my horse Murphy just five days after my 16th birthday, when most kids get cars I was getting ready to own a horse! I started showing right after and was hooked! We currently just finished out our fourth year showing and won first in the youth 1D at our state fair! I was overjoyed! I couldn’t have been blessed with a better horse. He is truly a once in a lifetime horse that always takes care of me. I am currently enrolled in college for veterinary technology, but I come home every weekend to ride and work my horse so I always know he’s in top condition.
So many people have inspired me and helped pick me up when I needed it most. Without my family or trainer I wouldn’t be where I am, nor would I have my horse now, and I could never be more grateful for having them in my life. It would be such a honor to be a Lakota Young Professional and to have the opportunity to inspire others just as I was.
