My name is Alaysha Kushneryk, I am 16 years old and I am a barrel racer from Hinton Alberta! I have 3 horses, my main one is jags streakin rocket. I have been rodeoing for 10 years and am super passionate about the sport and everything involved in it. I high school rodeo in Alberta high school rodeo association district 3, I compete on barrel racing, pole bending, team roping, and break away roping. I love trying new things and learning from all the amazing riders, it’s hard to choose who I idolize the most. There’s so many amazing barrel racers that have a lot of knowledge, so keeping an open mind to learn more and obtain more knowledge for yourself is key to your own success. In 2018 I have won two buckles at 2 different races, the youth 1D buckle at the MJ memorial barrel race and the Cougars crossing barrel race youth high point buckle!
