BIO
Hi y’all my name is Aimee. I have been riding horses for as long as I can remember. Some of my accomplishments are qualifying for the Louisiana Jr High rodeo state finals all 3 years. Then going into high school I made it all the way to my junior year qualifying for state. My freshman year I finished in the top 10 in the state. This year I am competing in Mississippi High School Rodeo where in the barrel racing I am sitting in a 2nd-4th tie. I love my horses. I love the whole aspect of horsemanship. I put a lot of time in making sure my horses have a good foundation and make sure I give them lots of time outside of the arena to just be horses.
This year my goal is to make it to state and hopefully the national finals for High School Rodeo. I am proud that I have won multiple sportsmanship awards and in 2015 I won the National High School Rodeo Spirit award for Louisiana and the Top Hand award which came with a $500 scholarship. My biggest role model has to be Sherry Cervi and Ashley Babineaux. My future plans include going to McNeese State University to pursue my dreams of being a nurse.
