BIO
My name is Aimee Getgen. I am 14 years old and from a small town called Etters, Pennsylvania. I have been competing in rodeo for 3 years. I compete in barrel racing, pole bending, breakaway roping, team roping, goat tying, ribbon roping, and light rifle. Some of my accomplishments include PA 4-H state pole bending champion, 2016 NJHSFR qualifier, PJHSFR reserve all-around cowgirl, and several state highschool rodeo championships. I have two competition horses named Lacey, who is 7, and scooter, who is 25. I use Lacey for goat tying, breakaway roping, barrels, and poles. She is also my backup team roping horse. My favorite part about her is that I trained her myself. Scooter is used for breakaway roping, heeling, and I am leaning to tie down rope with her. My favorite thing about her is her spunky attitude.
